Job Title: Procurement Administrator

Job Description:

I. Purpose of the Position

The procurement administrator is responsible for supporting the procurement department in the sourcing, purchasing and logistics of goods and services for the company.
II. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the sourcing of goods and services by researching and identifying potential suppliers, and analyzing their offers in terms of price, quality, and delivery time
Create and maintain supplier databases and records, ensuring that all relevant information is accurate and up-to-date
Prepare and issue purchase orders, and follow up on their status to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate and track the logistics of deliveries and shipments, including the scheduling of transport and the coordination of customs clearance
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, and assist in the forecasting and planning of future requirements
Support the procurement team in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with suppliers
Assist in the management of supplier performance, including the resolution of any issues or disputes
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, and assist in their development and implementation
Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
Other duties as assigned by the procurement team
III. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of procurement and logistics principles
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and experience with procurement software
