I. Position Overview

Title: Lead Management Accountant
Department: Accounting/Finance
Reporting to: Financial Controller/CFO
II. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial initiatives support and enhance overall business objectives
Stay current with financial regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Manage relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and tax advisors
Monitor and manage financial performance, including identifying areas for cost savings and revenue growth
Supervise, mentor and train junior accountants and other team members
Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools to improve financial performance and reporting.
III. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong team management skills
Professional accounting qualification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA or ACA is a plus.
