I. Position Overview

Title: Head of Finance
Department: Finance
Reporting to: CEO/CFO
II. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a financial strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy and objectives
Lead and manage the finance team, setting goals and objectives, and providing mentorship and development opportunities
Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and systems, and implement internal controls to safeguard assets
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making by senior management
Manage relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and tax advisors
Stay current with financial regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that financial initiatives support and enhance business operations
III. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience managing budgets and resources
Strong team management skills
