Job Title: Finance Accountant

Purpose: The Finance Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, and providing financial analysis to support decision making and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Assist in the preparation for audits.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to management.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax compliance.
Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
Provide financial analysis and support to management in the decision-making process.
Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Reports to: Financial Controller or Chief Financial Officer
