Job Title: Finance Controller

Purpose: The Finance Controller is responsible for providing financial leadership and direction for the organization by developing and implementing financial strategies, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
Oversee and manage the financial performance of the organization, including financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial forecasting.
Manage cash flow and risk management to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Build financial models to support decision making and strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax compliance and audit management.
Analyze financial performance and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
Provide financial guidance and support to management in the decision-making process.
Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Experience in leading a team of finance professionals
Reports to: CEO or CFO

Type of Position: Full-time
