Business Plan & Treasury Lead Accountant

Job Description:
EDEA-HR is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Business Plan & Treasury Lead
Accountant for a long-term contract position with one of our clients. The successful candidate will be
responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis for the company’s business operations
and managing the company’s treasury function.

Responsibilities:
 Develop and maintain financial models for the company’s business operations, including
forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
 Lead the preparation of the company’s business plan and financial projections
 Manage the company’s cash flow and liquidity, including forecasting and managing cash
balances, cash forecasting and managing bank accounts.
 Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and forecast, and provide
recommendations for improvements
 Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
with financial policies and procedures
 Manage and develop a team of financial analysts
 Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of
financial reporting

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
 5+ years of experience in a similar role
 Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
 Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
 Strong leadership and mentoring skills
 Experience in financial planning and analysis and treasury management
 CPA or other accounting certifications is a plus
